Del Giorno’s Café Restaurant is owned and operated by Kris and Brenda Bunder who have made a firm commitment when they purchased the business in 2004 to establish Del Giorno’s as a café/restaurant showcasing Eyre Peninsula’s premium seafood and to serve only locally caught and farmed seafood on the menu. Further to this commitment the restaurant has also played a big part in the development of Eyre Peninsula as a culinary food destination. Unearthing amazing food in a region is a culinary adventure that visitors are increasingly seeking and when visitors come to Port Lincoln they discover Del Giorno’s!
The restaurant specialises in local, seasonal seafood with a strong ‘Modern Australian’ flair. Del Giorno’s is a fully licensed restaurant operating seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner with capacity to seat 120 patrons. Food is served for 14 hours a day Monday to Saturday and 13 hours on Sunday.
This has given Del Giorno’s a competitive advantage over other eateries in Port Lincoln and enables the business to better serve their customers including local residents and visitors.
Further to the amazing food visitors enjoy at the restaurant they are also won over by the friendly and professional service. The product knowledge shared by staff about the various dishes and the different species of seafood on the menu ensures the visitor becomes an Eyre Peninsula ambassador.
